Description
Guided by mathematicians and educators, the Nueva School Math Circle provides students with opportunities to play with interesting mathematical activities, puzzles, and problems. This year's Math Circle features sessions for students in preK to 10th grade. Parents are invited to participate in Math Circle and are asked to supervise their children during the evening. This is not a drop-off event. In addition to the Nueva community, the Math Circle is open to the public.
Our Lower School session will be led by two fantastic speakers:
Stephanie Englehaupt, The Nueva School
Sue VanHattum, mathmamawrites.blogspot.com
Our Middle and Upper School session is entitled “The Science of Encryption” and will be led by
Professor Dan Boneh, Department of Computer Science, Stanford University
Please register today!
Registration Fee:
$8 per student before January 14th
